Up All Night Tour
One Direction announced their upcoming UK tour via video on September 27, 2011. Tickets were released on October 1, 2011, and sold out within minutes.
Tour dates for the second leg, covering Australia and New Zealand, were revealed on February 24, 2012, with tickets going on sale on March 2, 2012.
On March 21, 2012, the band announced an extended North American leg for the tour.
In the United States, the tour’s DVD debuted at number one on the Billboard DVD chart, selling 76,000 copies and surpassing the top-selling Billboard 200 album at the time, John Mayer’s Born and Raised, which sold 65,000 copies.
